Welcome to Emergency Threads, conveniently located in the Capital District of Albany, NY. We provide full service embroidery and digitizing. While our name says Emergency, we are not just limited to embroidery for the Emergency Services.  We provide our services to any customer regardless of their business type.  All we care about is providing a one stop shop for your embroidery needs! Our mission is to help our customer have a friendly experience as they are actively involved with the process of designing their customized logo.

We aim to provide fast and friendly service as well as competitive pricing to get your garments embroidered and delivered quickly. We use the latest version of a high-end digitizing software to create the file for our customers and we use a single head, 16 needle commercial embroidery machine to transform your garment into a customized piece of clothing.

In 2015 we started with a small, single thread, single needle sewing machine which was quickly realized to be very limited in it's capabilities.  That sewing machine was upgraded to a similar single thread, single needle sewing machine which included basic digitizing software and a larger embroidery field.  As we became experienced using that machine and with basic design digitizing we were approached by customers to do more complex designs with multiple colors and layers.  That brought us to 2018 when we bought our current single head, 16 needle machine with professional level digitizing software.

Jason

Jason has been interested in sewing since learning about it in Home Economics Class in Elementary School.  He still has his mother's sewing machine and has used it his entire life to sew patches and make alterations and clothing items.  Jason is a volunteer firefighter, a flight paramedic and involved in law enforcement.  He has been to many EMS conferences and would always be curious when he walked by the embroidery booth creating and selling show apparel, so he decided to try it out for himself.
